bodySCULPT plastic surgeon and InMode’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Spero J. Theodorou will be performing live surgery from the operating room for InMode’s Livestream Surgical Educational Series (Season 2 – Episode 6) on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 11:00am EST.
Dr. Theodorou will utilize cutting-edge Radiofrequency energy contouring technology with both the BodyTite and Morpheus8 Body with Burst platforms on Medial and Lateral Thighs on the awake patient. While performing the surgery, he will also be narrating his procedure, reviewing candidate selection, and discussing treatment settings and techniques.
Dr. Theodorou will be using is the BodyTite, the FDA-cleared liposuction device that uses patented RFAL™ (radiofrequency assisted liposuction) technology. BodyTite delivers radiofrequency energy to liquefy subcutaneous fat so that it can be easily removed. It also coagulates the blood vessels, and tightens the skin, while leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed. However, BodyTite in NYC can be performed under local anesthesia, which means lower risks and faster recovery.
Dr. Theodorou will also be utilizing Morpheus8 Body with Burst mode, a highly efficacious modality to RF fractional treatments. The first and only FDA cleared technology to penetrate tissue with a thermal profile of 8mm, Morpheus8 Body has the ability to target tissue sequentially at three levels, in millisecond intervals, which allows for a significant reduction in treatment times, minimizes skin injury, increases treatment uniformity, and enables customized full body fractional procedures. This intelligent, programmable, full body fractional technology delivers clinically proven RF energy up to a thermal depth of 8mm with its 40 gold coated pins. Burst mode ultimately strengthens the overall skin-adipose scaffold.
